Polaris routinely sends Phone, Email, TXT, and Print notices to patrons based on library settings and individual patron preferences.

*Not all libraries send Billing notices via Email or TXT. Some libraries print Billing notices and send them through standard mail
Email notices are sent from the Polaris server. Phone / TXT notices are sent to a 3rd party vendor, who delivers the messages on our behalf.
The Auto-Renewal/Almost Overdue notice goes out via email to any patrons that have an email address in their account. It only goes out via TXT if the patron does not have an email address in their account.
