Accessing WebReports

WebReports is the Pinnacle Library Cooperative's web-based report platform.  With WebReports, library staff can run common Circulation, Collection Development, and Technical Services reports.

To access WebReports, visit https://net.pinnaclelibraries.org/webreports
If not already logged into the Pinnacle intranet, you'll need to log into the intranet first.

The WebReports interface is divided into four sections:

  1. Circ Reports - Patrons, lost materials, and the picklist.
  2. Tech Services Reports - Cataloging and Acquisitions
  3. Collection Reports - Collection maintenance and statistics
  4. ILS Settings - System settings

Clicking a link from the navigation bar will display the section's report page.

Each section contains the name of the report, a brief summary, some optional information and up to 3 buttons:

  • Run Report - A direct link to the selected report on the server. When selecting this button, you maybe asked to log in to the Polaris Report Server. Use your Polaris/Leap credentials to log in.
  • Preview Report - A sample image of the report that shows the report output. Useful for determining if the report is appropriate without having to run it.
  • Get SQL Query - For some reports, the raw SQL query is provided. This can be copied to a Polaris Find Tool.

Login Credentials

In most cases, users of WebReports will need to provide two separate login credentials.

  • Pinnacle Intranet - To access these pages, users will need to log in to the Pinnacle intranet. These are generic credentials, shared with staff of Pinnacle libraries.
  • Report Pages - When running an actual report from the report server, users will need to log in to the Polaris Report Server with their Polaris/Leap credentials.  This is typically the first letter of the staff member's first name plus the staff member's last name.
